ROUGH DRAFT

Rough Draft

Slums are not the neatest place to live in or the ideal home. A slum is a overcrowded, run-down, inhabited place for poor people. Slums negatively impact humans through a chain of events; overpopulation leads to extreme pollution, which causes an overflow on polluted streams. One negative impact of a slum is…..

Slums are very overpopulated because most poor people live there. “41.6 million people, live in slums.” Millions and millions  of  poor people live in slums everyday. Some can not afford a home so they live in slums. Second negative impact of  slums are…

Overpopulation  causes extreme pollution. “ they’re very crowded and the slum is very dirty” since of the slums are crowded they get very, very, very dirty. Since all the crowdedness of all the poor people bunched up and the slums became very dirty. The third negative  impact of slums are……

Sewage streams overflow and pollutes of course it floods the slums. “Polluted stream  sometimes overflow and floods them.” The polluted streams get full so it overflowed and flood the slums. Sewage streams overflows and  floods the slums. The conclusion is…………

Slums are not the best place to live in. Slums negatively impact humans through a chain of events; overpopulation leads to extreme pollution, which causes overflow on polluted streams. Millions of people live in slums, because of overpopulation, and it is dirty, plus the sewage streams overflow most of the time in every slum.

REFLECTION

My final project was a power point. to me it caused WAY to much thinking especially because i barley knew the MYP design cycle but i got it that's good because i'm not good at technology. The design cycle helped me a new strategy to do my projects.i was going to do a flip book but i kept messing up  and i was not succeding i normally don't give up but i didn't understand that flip book either so how am i going to make a teacher and a 6th graders to understand it. the next one i thought about was to create a game but ever since a child i haven't been THAT exited about video games like the other kids(mom called me unique for that reason). The last one that i would probably enjoy making is a power point so i stuck with that.except it was so tiering because when you put in a picture the text goes away and i kept forgetting that i had more trouble.I'm done now so i'm happy because after all that trouble i'm DONE.

PARAGRAPH

I have accomplished that I'm done sorta i think i need to fix somethings.I just need to fix some things in my slides.my project WILL show them what the design cycle is.the sixth graders will know and love the design cycle after all of our projects because they are amazing.I've been clear they will know my project needs some work but they will know.

3 DESIGNS

DESIGN 1:
ITS A POWERPOINT
Take some pictures and write information about the design cycle on each slide.i will make a powerpoint for the sixth graders, so they will know what exactly is the design cycle.
DESIGN 2:
IT'S A GAME
Playing games is a way the 6th graders will learn because they will never win unless they get the question right and if we know they won't give up on a game. After they will know what them design cycle is and want to play it again

questions 10-13

I am going to make a powerpoint because i think its very creative.
Formulate a Design Specification
11. What are the requirements for this assignment?
The requirements is to explain to a sixth grader how exactly to use a design cycle.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?
The limitations is to teach the sixth graders what the design cycle is.
13. How will you "test" your project?

    • I will test my cousin allan in sixth grade but i will write it in my level i will surveys to 6th graders probably to see if they will understand it.
    • DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS:)
    1. i will make it easy for the sixth graders
    2. i will show them how to use the design cycle
    3. the sixth graders will know the stages of the design cycle
    4. my presentation will be at least 2 minutes long
    5. my project is a powerpoint
    6. my project will be creative but not the distracting creative thing
    7. my powerpoint is going to be on my pen drive

    questions

    Design Brief
    10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it. I am going going to to make a powerpoint because i think it have enough information and it will be more creative enough well for me and i don't have   a partner.
    Formulate a Design Specification
    11. What are the requirements for this assignment? The assignment requirement is to show a 6th grader how the design cycle works.
    12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment? The limitations are design and plan.
    13. How will you "test" your project? I will test it with my cousins

    15. What idea did you choose to demonstrate the design cycle and why did you choose it?I DONT  KNOW
    16. Does your idea meet all of the requirements? YES
    17. Use the story board paper below to plan your presentation.  Include how many levels you will have, what will be on each level, how will you include teaching skills to young students, and what will your questions be about.

    FLIPBOOK .VS. POWERPOINT

    FLIP BOOK:
The # i gave my simplicity is 4 because it is that simple to do. The # i gave color 5 because im going to make it colorful so it will make them get more attracted to my design cycle. I gave my characters a #2 because i'm not going to use them that much just to describe it a little better with a small comic. I gave my font a #2 also because i'm trying to figure out how to use my fonts in my powerpoint or flip book. I think i'm  going to stick with powerpoint.
The total score is 13  because that is what they all added up to.  This is the first thing that i tried to do but wasn't successful. So now i'm ending up doing a powerpoint because it's the one i have time for.
    POWERPOINT:
The scores are the same because, i did use the same thing in each of them because, i was planning to do both but for me now the powerpoint is sounding easier and more  creative. i find this more easier than the flip book.

    continued day 2 investigation reflection

in the last 30 minutes looking what to use for my flip book and or  power point those sixth graders better get my design cycle because i'm trying so hard for them just to know the the design cycle in my level but so they understand  i know there not going to look  at them but hopefully i get a good grade

    DAY 2 INVESTIGATION REFLECTION

I WANT TO CREATE A FLIP BOOK OR A POWER POINT.WHY BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE A GOOD WAY TO ATTRACT SIXTH GRADERS BECAUSE YOU GOT TO BE SPONTANIUS AND PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT YOU DO SINCE THEIR STILL IN A LOWER LEVEL THEY WILL OR MIGHT UNDERSTAND IT BETTER AND ,MY DESIGN CYLE WILL MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND MORE SO YEAH
